1960s Mod Style
Retro Spectacle has a passion for providing our customers with high quality vintage and retro glasses. As we are also opticians we can provide any prescription lenses for any purpose – such as distance, reading, sunglasses etc.
Our vintage frame selection covers a range of vintage and retro designer brands and also the sought after NHS collection, covering the 1950’s, 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. Original vintage glasses were made to the highest quality, many of which were made in Britain by master craftsmen. If we know the origin of the frame we will state it in the product description.
You wouldn’t wear uncomfortable ill fitting unfashionable shoes, so why compromise with your glasses. We attend a number of vintage fairs throughout the year, giving customers the opportunity to see our collection in the flesh.
Retro Spectacle is not for the faint hearted. We provide exciting eyewear with a vintage twist. All our spectacles are expertly sourced and our team are always on hand to help should you require any guidance.
Retro Peepers is an online optical boutique which has been in business for over 14 years and specializes in recreating stylish retro eyewear for our highly discerning customers around the world.
We are a small, dedicated team of fashion-conscious creatives who love the vintage scene and who work from a studio in London, designing reproduction frames and having them made to our exacting specifications as well as sourcing gorgeous vintage-styled eyewear from small artisanal makers in Europe.
We supply optical frames, ready readers and sunglasses and can glaze to your prescription.
Our belief is that most customers are looking for a long-term relationship with their eyewear provider and not just a one-frame stand. We’d like that to be with us!
